Lobsamen is Up

Here's where. Golden Visions online Another setting photo. I like how cold cold sea water churned by a prop makes such a lovely green color.
I did talk about this one late last year in this post. Click and enjoy. It's free, after all.

Earthbound Sparks is on the Nook

I'm pleased because that's my Ereader.

New cover design puts me last. I'll not be petulant about it.

Claire's Touch is Illustrated

I know, just a little photoshop with the rover in the foreground for reference, but it's my first story illustration so I'm excited. I thought when I saw it that the hill isn't supposed to be there, and all three see the surprise craft nearly at once, but the parachute looks right, and the ship is silver, as it should be. Funny how I had a picture in my mind though I didn't describe everything tediously, so another reader/illustrator can see it differently. Who is to say she is wrong and I am right? A story becomes something subtlety different in each reader's mind, I think. That's part of the fun. It is also part of the fun to see what another reader got even though I never said as much.

Want to see some amazing story illustrations? Chris Howard Does his ownI lack the talent.

Sparks is out on Kindle

I'm hoping there's an epub version for Nook users like me.

Claire's Touch Came Out

Neo-Opsis is soldly semi-pro. We were talking about this one a year and a half ago at a Readercon dinner. Neo-Opsis publishes biennially. They thought it reminiscent of an old Farmer novel, The Lovers. I tried to be Bradburyesque but also scientifically plausible. Well, maybe the latter's a stretch.

The End sold

The editor, Bruce Bethke is credited for coining the term Cyberpunk.

You've heard the writerly advice: start as near to the end as possible? I started at story at the Big Crunch. That is, the last tick of the clock of time, when the Big Bang has completely reversed itself and the universe has collapsed to a single dimensionless point. That's when the story starts. Hence the title.

Sparks Anthology has a Cover

I even get some billing there, and not last! Don't know how they came up with the order. Getting billed as one of the brightest stars won't go to my head at all.
